Experience

During my tenure in public accounting, I had the opportunity to teach, coach and mentor my associates and senior associates. Additionally, I was selected and served as a National Instructor for 3 years. In this role, I instructed Audit Associates and Senior Associates the national curriculum for the audit practice. While at the University of Texas, I worked as a TA for Financial Accounting and Intermediate Accounting. I conducted office hours, proctored and graded exams. I also worked directly with some of the best professors in the Accounting education field. I worked as a private tutor for 2 years, including the summer after I graduated and before I started working in Public Accounting. My work experience combined with my education enables me to accommodate a variety of learning styles. I simplify complex accounting concepts by providing real world examples. I am passionate about the subject and receive exceptional feedback from my former students and colleagues. I am interested in eventually going back to school to become a professor.
