I graduated from Santa Clara University in 2013, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Public Health Sciences. After graduation, I worked as a trained behavior therapist in the Orange County area. In 2014, I received a post-baccalaureate certificate in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Chapman University and became a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
Experience
Volunteer: tutored high school students in an AVID classroom in all subjects, assisted in a bilingual second grade classroom, tutored elementary students in an after school homework club in math, writing, and reading. Worked as a trained behavior therapist with children with autism and other developmental disorders. Tutored a middle school student with autism in all subjects and worked on goals from his IEP for 1 year. Work as a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a private clinic and middle school. Occasionally offer academic support in these settings.

Hobbies
Very active! I enjoy playing sports, dancing, and yoga. I played water polo in high school and college. I also enjoy watching professional sports, such as hockey and basketball. I also love to listen to music of a variety of genres, and enjoying going to live music events. Reading is another one of my hobbies! I love reading in my free time, and really encourage children to find books that they enjoy reading as well!
